In this video, you will learn how to use the Text Editor in ProShow Web. A text editor box appears every time you add a caption to your show. You can add a title or a caption, and then customize the text. To get started, click inside the text editor box. You can type in the text you want to use. The font and font size are automatically set to the defaults, but you can customize this. To change the font, use the dropdown menu. You can also change the font size. The text editor box also allows you to change the font style, color and alignment. You can also add special effects to your text. The effects are organized into categories. You can also add a shadow to your text. Click the Shadow button to open the shadow settings. From here, you can adjust the opacity, size, color and distance of the shadow. When you're done, click the check mark to apply the effect to the text. You can also add a background box to your text. Click the Background button to open the background settings. You can adjust the size, color, transparency and border of the background box. When you're done, click the check mark to apply the effect. You can also add a reflection to your text. Click the Reflection button to open the reflection settings. You can adjust the size and opacity of the reflection. When you're done, click the check mark to apply the effect. Finally, you can add an outline to your text. Click the Outline button to open the outline settings. You can adjust the size, color and opacity of the outline.
